There is still 2020 tax return that haven’t been processed in the nation.

For taxes 2021 File as soon as you are able to and if you anticipate a Refund,

Forms you need to make sure you have to avoid delays on your refund before filing.

child Tax credits - Letter 6419
Is total credit payed from June to December for children.

Letter 6475- stimulus amount received.

These letters are going to be going out soon by Jan 14th

If you have a different address or recently
Moved. Make sure you file a change of address with the US postal office. Also you can notify the IRS by filling form 8822.

FOR NEW AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN OF 2021
For unemployment that makes the first 10,200 of unemployment benefits nontaxable.

So If you received unemployment benefits for 2020 and your already filed your 2020 income tax. The IRS URGES NOT TO FILE AN AMENDED RETURN. The IRS will provided additional guidance on how to report and get the credit.

They are in the process to update system and provide further information on how the process will be made. Again Do not amend. The least thing the irs wants is millions of Amend returns. PLEASE BE PATIENT FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.

June 15th to File personal and business returns for anyone who lives in Texas. 

Last day to file June 15th!

This is due to the declaration of a state of emergency from the snow storm.
