Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do? I provide individual care to each of my clients. They are not just a client during the tax filing season but the entire year. Whether by email, fax, office phone or physical location and in most cases they even have my cell phone, I am readily accessible. What do you like most about your job? I get the opportunity to meet so many different people from different places and even different cultures. I have clients in a number of other states including Alaska as well as other countries such as India and Iraq. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients. Federal and state income tax preparation (individual and corporate) Small Business bookkeeping, Notary services, & general administrative services. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer? I am most commonly asked about any changes in tax credits or deductions. I respond to their specific question and then direct them to my website or to IRS.gov for additional information on current year tax changes that affect them. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field? As a member of several associations (NATP, NSTP, & NACPB), I am required to complete a minimum number of CPEs.
