...I recently had the great opportunity to speak at William P. Hobby Elementary to Pre-K through 5th graders for career day. We spoke about Money, from Piggy banks (younger students) to budgeting to savings and investing. We spoke about Careers, and choosing a path not only for what you can earn, but also something you enjoy and are passionate about. We even spoke about regrets and staying focused and determined during hard times...
..The students asked great questions and had great answers to my questions. You'd be impressed with how knowledgeable many of the students are...
..I am grateful for being able to speak at a school I attended as a child, my niece currently attends, and my mother retired from. I truly felt rejuvenated after talking to these wonderful students! The children are the future and it's never to early for them to learn...
