Customer Service Tax Representative

Summary:
You will serve as a Customer Service Representative for CLondon Tax Planning and Advisory. This position is 100% remote and will aid individuals and business owners with the completion of federal and state tax returns. In addition to providing technical assistance as it relates to tax preparation, representatives will also be responsible for assisting the individual in determining filing status, dependency requirements, income, deductions, and credits. Representatives will have the responsibility to assign individuals seeking assistance in filing a business return to a Business Relationship Manager for Pro Service.
Using computer skills to direct the individual in populating required information to complete the return.
Performing some financial computations/analyses to determine individuals tax refund or amount owed. Overseeing operations at multiple states and function as the Customer Service Tax Representative will be assigned a specific portfolio to manage through the sales pipeline.

During high demand Mandatory Overtime may be required be required while on assignment (up to seven days a week and ten to fourteen hours a day). Applicants must be able to supply a quite work environment. Must provide high-speed Internet of 5 Mbps or greater and either a cellular (unlimited talk usage) or landline telephone. Internet cannot be through a cellular phone. Hot Spot connectivity is not permitted.
Qualifications: To qualify you must have at least 1 year of specialized experience in tax preparation. Individuals who lack a full year of specialized experience bot have 1 of the following:
Associated Degree with advanced level math
High School Diploma or GED and PTIN or advanced education beyond high school
In addition, to the Specialized Experience above applicants must demonstrate the following: Using computer programs such as MS Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer, and Responding to a variety of business related customer inquiries and answering tax related questions and working as a member of a team or group to achieve goals, objectives or metrics to produce deliverables; and/or Working with financial documents: such as, tax returns, income (profit and loss) statements, schedules of liabilities, balance sheets, financial modeling.
Selected applicants will be asked to be a leader of a team. Leading a team would involve providing oversight of the quality of work, while further developing workflows and internal processes assuring adherence with established policies and procedures.
Additional information: Applicants will be eligible for health and other benefits after 90 consecutive days or 130 hours of work.
