MB + CO was happy to host VCH seniors today on their career awareness day. We talked to them about the CPA profession, their path to becoming a CPA and Kristen Magee even showed them how to prepare a tax return. Good idea by VCH and thanks to our team that pulled together a program for them.

Last week, our office emailed all clients to remind of the Beneficial Ownership Interest (BOI) filing due January 1. There are a lot of rules and exceptions and exemptions, but most small businesses that sent or received $1000 or more in the last 12 months are required to file. The penalties for failure to file are potentially very severe. Filing is quick and easy. If you own a business and have not done so already - get out your drivers license and get it done.
