Russell Leigh & Associates is looking for a part-time office assistant. Hours would be 25-30 a week, with a guaranteed 25. Possibility of becoming a full time position. Bookkeeping and/or payroll experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate. Job duties include basic bookkeeping, answering phones and scheduling clients, pulling files, assisting customers, and other general office duties as needed.

🎉Good news!🎉Late yesterday (3.25.20), the state of Illinois finally extended their filing deadline to July 15. So state and federal are on the same timeline again.

But that doesn't mean you should wait! Drop off or mail in your tax documents today, and get that checked off your list.

So this morning we've gotten an incredible amount of phone calls, so we're going to break it down. Quick, simply and easy. Here is what we know...

👍 We are classified as an essential service. So we are still open our normal hours.
📬📨 However, as much as we love seeing you guys, we really would like you to consider dropping your taxes off instead of coming in for an appointment. We can even setup telephone appointments for anyone who has things they want to talk through.
📅 Also, and this is important, we cannot take tax appointments past April 15. We know the government has extended the deadline to July 15 (yay! 🎉) but we start our audit season May 1, and just simply won't be around the office to do appointments.

Thank you all so much for your support, and we promise we are still here for you. Just with a little less handshaking. At least until we flatten the curve.

Don't worry, Russell Leigh & Associates will still be open during this time. The government has declared us an essential service.

The tax deadline has been extended to July 15, but we will still be in the office our normal hours. Dropoff or mail in is always available for all our clients and we encourage you to use this option!

We will be open Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm and Saturday 8am to Noon.
