📌 SCENARIO:

I'm panicking for real. I got a letter from the IRS saying I owe $4,200 because I got like $19,000 through Cash App last year that I "didn't report." That was my roommate sending me her half of the rent every month!! That's not income!! What do I do, just ignore it?? 😰

Somebody please explain this to me. Me and my husband filed together, we were supposed to get almost $5,000 back… and the IRS took the WHOLE THING for his old child support from before we were even married!! That money was partly MINE. Can they really just do that?? 😡
