Dear Parents/Guardians,
As you may have heard, there is a severe, national shortage of school bus drivers and substitute teachers. Our school district is currently experiencing shortages that are affecting our ability to provide consistent levels of service to our students. If you are interested in becoming part of our school district serving our students, please consider the following:
Substitute Teachers - All Grades K-12
Applicants with a bachelor's degree in any area can be certified to substitute. We will work with applicants to provide the paid training for substitute certification. Applicants can select which grade levels and days that you are willing to substitute. If interested, please call Barb Knauff at 724-981-8750 ext. 6010.
School Bus Drivers
Our primary contractor, STA, is looking for anyone interested in being trained/hired as a school bus driver. Paid training is provided and candidates can choose between daily runs or extra-curricular/athletic bus runs. Please see the below flyer for contact information.
