Tax season is upon us and we want you to please be aware of ghost tax preparers! If someone will not sign a tax return they prepared, they are a ghost preparer and could cause major headaches for you down the road! Please don’t let someone do your return on TurboTax and “send it off for you!”

At minimum your preparer should be a participant in the Annual Filing Season Program, but ideally is credentialed such as Sheila and Jeremy in our office. We are both Enrolled Agents, which is the highest tax designation one can obtain!

IR-2023-59, March 27, 2023 — The IRS today continued the Dirty Dozen series by cautioning taxpayers to avoid unscrupulous tax return preparers and provided important tips to find the right tax professional.

Tax Season 2024 is almost here! 🎉 The IRS just announced they will begin accepting electronically filed tax returns on January 27th! 🥳

We are so happy to begin another season with our wonderful clients. We’re grateful that you trust us year in and out to handle your taxes for you!

In addition to everything you are used to, we are thrilled to announce we are adding wealth management to our list of services that we offer to you! 🎊 Jeremy recently acquired his securities license and is using Charles Schwab for custody and ex*****on of client funds & investments.

Here’s a fun little graphic that shows where your Federal income tax goes. If you go to Line 24 on the second page of the 1040 on your tax return you can find your Total Tax.
