Nearly five years. That's how long Kim has been showing up, holding it down, and helping build this business from almost the very beginning. I couldn't imagine doing any of this without her.

She is the boots on the ground for all of our Vermont operations and keeps the day-to-day running smoothly for nearly every client we serve. On top of everything she does for us, she recently earned her Associate's degree in Accounting, and I could not be more proud.

Chelsea founded Balanced Business Solutions 5 years ago, bringing with her 9+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance, and holds a QuickBooks Online (QBO) ProAdvisor certification.

Specializing in financial cleanup and fractional CFO services, Chelsea works across a range of industries — with deep expertise in nonprofit accounting, fine dining, wineries, and breweries. She’s equally comfortable & experienced managing lean $10K budgets and complex $2M+ operations, and thrives in leadership roles where she can be a true partner to her clients.

Chelsea’s approach is refreshingly down-to-earth: professional and driven, but never stuffy. She loves being embedded in the teams of the businesses she serves — bringing clarity, strategy, and a steady hand to the financial side so her clients can focus on what they do best.

Hey Friends & Clients! Can you believe 2024 is coming to a close already?? As year end rapidly approaches, I wanted to share some important information:

✨Get those W-9s ready so we can prepare your 1099s with ease!!

✨Did you know that even if you aren’t a client, we can still prepare your 1099s for you? Reach out for the details.

✨ I have decided that I WILL be accepting a few year end SOS calls to get your 2024 books cleaned up for tax prep. However, there will be stipulations this year:

✨You must also sign up for ongoing monthly accounting services - any level
✨Due to TWO local businesses that had me complete work for them and then ghosted me without paying the bill last year, I will be requiring an up front retainer this year
