Attention homeowners and renters: The deadline for the New Jersey 2019 ANCHOR rebates has been extended until February 28, 2023. If you have not yet received your mailer from the State of New Jersey give us a call for assistance in filing a paper application.

Good morning all. I hope this post finds you and yours safe and healthy! Please keep reading for important information for both individuals and businesses.

We have a few updates to share with our clients. Earlier today the State of New Jersey finally extended their due date for tax returns from April 15th to July 15th to match the IRS deadline!

While our office is currently closed to the public and we are no longer accepting face to face appointments, we do have essential staff in the office working. We are asking clients to either fax, email, or mail their information to us so that we can complete your returns. If you do prefer to drop it off, there is a mail slot to the right of the door for you to do so.

Please understand that during this time it may take longer to receive your finished tax return. While we are still focused on getting your individual returns finished, we are trying to balance your needs with our business clients who are applying for Covid-19 relief. All with a reduced staff!

For our business clients who are looking for information as to what resources are available to you during this time please reach out to us. We have compiled several loan and grant options and will pass along our Covid-19 resource fact sheet to you. Additionally, we are available to help provide information necessary to apply for said relief as well as to assist you in filling out and filing applications.

Just a reminder: The IRS will not call, email, fax or text you if there are any issues with your tax returns. If anyone calls and claims to be from the IRS, do not give them any information.

The latest version of the IRS phone scam involves a threat to sue unless you pay your back taxes immediately. If you receive one of these phone calls, do not panic. Do not volunteer any information. Instead take their phone number and then report the phone call to [email protected].

Several people in the South Jersey area have recently received these phone calls so the scam is still alive and well.
