. In 2013, Alma’s daughters started training and became tax preparers. Each AATS office is managed by one of Alma’s daughters who absorbed tax information from the time they were children running around their home with clients and their children. AATS prides itself on being a personalize tax service. We are not the tax office for everyone. We build relationships that last! Along the way, two of Alma’s daughters moved to MS. Crazy, we know! Through the past 5 years they have traveled to and from California to help support the corporate office. Through networking and professionalism, they grew their clientele in MS. It is now time to have a physical location for clients to be seen and help support the dream of expansion. You are not getting a newly trained-straight out of school tax preparer. Each AATS tax preparer is required to maintain a California Tax Education Council registration with 20 hours of tax update classes each year. These classes include Federal, State, and Ethics reviews. CTEC registration is transferable to all states because it has one of the strictest tax laws within the nation. They are also required to maintain their Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) and an insurance bond.
