Manley Garvin is founded by partners Jim Manley and Josh Garvin, who have purchased the Greenwood office of Elliott Davis Decosimo. Manley Garvin will
be based in and maintain the current Greenwood office. Manley Garvin will provide a range of audit, tax, small business and specialized consulting services to clients across the Southeast. As part of the transaction, all members of the Greenwood office of Elliott Davis Decosimo will join the Manley Garvin team. In announcing the acquisition, Jim Manley noted: “We have provided tax and accounting services to clients in the Greenwood region for over 90 years and have deep roots in the community. This is an exciting opportunity for us to continue providing services to our core client base of individual, closely-held business, governmental and not-for-profit clients.”

Manley Garvin will be comprised of approximately 20 employees located in its offices at The Professional Building, 340 Main Street in Greenwood. The firm’s clients will include both individuals and companies, including closely-held businesses and their owners and organizations in the governmental and not-for-profit arenas. Jim Manley and Josh Garvin have spent their entire careers in Greenwood with Elliott Davis Decosimo. Manley has more than 21 years of experience in public accounting providing tax, assurance, consulting and accounting resources services to clients across a wide range of industries including closely held businesses, manufacturing and distribution, restaurants, contractors, medical and dental, governmental, and non-profit entities. He has served on numerous boards in the Greenwood community and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Greenwood County Hospital (Self Regional Healthcare). Garvin has more than 13 years of experience in public accounting focused on tax compliance, assurance and financial reporting to a diverse client base in the governmental, not-for-profit and closely held business industry segments. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Greenwood Area Chamber of Commerce and the United Way of Greenwood and Abbeville Counties.
