Our generation (Gen X) deals with uncertainty in many different forms, from raising children, career choices, health care decisions, paying for college, helping aging parents, and longevity. It is more important now than ever to make smart financial decisions as we navigate these challenging times. Because most
of your essential financial decisions are made in your 40s and 50s one of the common bonds we have found from working closely with our Gen X clients is the desire to move well beyond just investment management and “balanced” portfolios. We learned that by providing a 360-degree personalized wealth management platform, we could drill down to discover clients’ pain points and then find realistic and achievable solutions. So instead of dumping a 100-page financial plan in your lap, we will make planning bite-sized and modular. By listening carefully to you and taking it slowly, we can move you closer to begin Living Your Wealth. One of the essential services provided by a financial advisor is client education. We provide our clients and prospects with resources specific to Gen X and their potential challenges and goals. Our website is full of valuable and targeted content for you to review, and our YouTube channel (new) is called "Whiteboard in the Woods." We have even developed a process called Gen X Financial Planning. Instead of bombarding you with jargon and ways to prove to you how smart we are, we will take "baby steps" with our planning methods and help you pursue your goals versus just talking about them. We also provide you with straightforward "Gen X Personalized Plans" and discuss our costs in the first meeting. The team we work with has quite a few Gen X'ers involved, and so our collective experience is here for you to draw.
