A Note of Gratitude from Genesis Tax & Accounting 🤍
There are seasons in life when business has to take a back seat for a moment—not because it isn’t important, but because life itself demands our attention.
Over the past several weeks, Molly Porter, CEO of Genesis Tax & Accounting, has been navigating the grief that comes with losing her father. Grief is unpredictable. Some days she feels like she is finding her footing, and other days the weight of his absence feels just as heavy as it did in the beginning.
Through all of this, our clients have shown an incredible amount of grace, patience, understanding, and kindness. Every message, every extension of patience, and every “take your time” has meant more than you probably realize. ❤️
“To everything there is a season. A time for every purpose under heaven.”
— Ecclesiastes 3:1
Grief is a season too. It is not something that can simply be scheduled around a workday or put on hold when there are deadlines to meet. And while we continue to work hard to serve every client well, we also recognize that sometimes healing takes time.
We are asking for continued prayer and patience as Molly works through this season and catches up on some of the items that have fallen behind. Please know that nothing has been forgotten, nothing is being ignored, and she promises to get what you need taken care of. It may take a little longer than usual, but it will get done.
To our Genesis family—thank you. Thank you for trusting us with your businesses, your finances, and your lives. Thank you for giving Molly the space to grieve while still allowing her the grace to continue doing what she loves.
Your patience during this season has not gone unnoticed, and it is deeply, deeply appreciated.
With gratitude,
Genesis Tax & Accounting
