Seeking to eliminate conflicts of interest, our founding partners began developing a fee based asset management and investment consulting business in the early eighties. This very defined process was in the beginning stages among a group of core advisors within one of the largest financial services companies in the Unite

d States and became more formerly recognized nationally as the Consulting Group with approximately 50 Consulting Group Directors across the U.S. In the late 1990’s, Elliott Davis, a leading accounting firm in the Southeast, recognized a need to establish a wealth management division with a similar client centered focus. This wealth management division was quick to recognize that client needs were becoming increasingly complicated in regards to financial, tax and estate planning. These two groups with similar vision and values formed Elliott Davis Investment Advisors in 2008. Today a very committed and knowledgeable team of professionals continue building on these same core values of objectivity, independence, and client focused solutions as FinTrust Investment Advisors. We have grown into a full service financial services company offering wealth management solutions, retirement plan consulting, independent research, asset management, and insurance services.”
