Laying the foundation of our company are three key personnel, Certified Public Accountant Martha Henninger; AFSP/Staff Accountant/Business Administrator, Coleen Scaffardi; and Certified Public Accountant, Tara Button.
Martha Henninger, Owner/CPA Martha is a 1989 graduate of the California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. Starting in 1985, she worked in a local accounting firm as a staff accountant and achieved partner status in 1990. In September 1998, Martha started her own firm in Greensburg, Henninger Accounting Services, P.C. In January 2013, Martha opened Simply Payroll LLC to provide payroll services to the Greensburg and surrounding areas. In July 2015, Martha successfully passed her ABV, Accredited in Business Valuation, exam through the American Institute of CPAs and is working to obtain her ABV Credential. Martha has over 30 years of experience in all phases of accounting such as tax return preparation, tax planning, financial statement preparation for businesses and individuals, audits, reviews and compilations, and Business Valuations. As a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and a member of the Sage Accountants Network, Martha provides both training and support for all versions of QuickBooks and Sage 50 accounting software. She is currently a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is registered to practice in North Carolina. Martha currently serves on the Finance Board for the Blackburn Center and has served as the past President for both the Hempfield Township Rotary Club and Executive Women of Westmoreland, as well as the past Treasurer for the Westmoreland Chamber of Commerce.
