✨ Community Highlight ✨

One local organization I truly admire is Milwaukee Community Acupuncture — a nonprofit dedicated to making wellness more accessible for everyone. Their sliding-scale model, inclusive approach, and pay-it-forward program help remove barriers so more people can access quality care.

It’s a great example of community-centered care in action - please feel free to reach out and connect!

We offer acupuncture treatments on a sliding scale of $20-50 per visit, with an additional $10 new patient consultation fee for the first visit. You decide what you can pay at each visit. This allows you to come as often and as long as you need to get better and stay better.

I wanted to share a quick perspective piece with you that I think is especially relevant given recent headlines.

Preview:
“Wars and conflicts have been a constant throughout history; however recent events might cause us to look at how the stock market has performed during past times of war… Though uncertainty may temporarily shape the market, we believe seeing the market’s overall resiliency can help maintain a long-term perspective.”

This resource walks through how markets have historically responded during periods of geopolitical stress and reinforces the importance of staying focused on long-term outcomes.

This time of year, I see a lot of people feeling the pressure of money decisions.

Tax forms are arriving.
Markets are moving.
Life is busy.

And it can feel like you’re supposed to have everything figured out.
But financial planning isn’t about having perfect answers.

It’s about creating space to ask better questions:

• What do we actually want our life to look like in the next few years?
• Are our finances supporting our wellbeing — or just reacting to stress?
• Are we making decisions from clarity or from pressure?

The most meaningful planning conversations rarely start with numbers.
They start with people, priorities, and real life.

Money should support the life you want to live — not the other way around, and we are never too busy to be a sounding board for the people you care about.

Feeling “behind” financially usually isn’t about math.
It’s about comparison.

Different lives have different timelines, support systems, incomes, priorities, and tradeoffs—yet we measure ourselves like we’re all on the same track.

There is no universal schedule for buying a home, paying off debt, investing, or “having it all figured out.”

Progress only makes sense when it’s measured against your values and your life.

Comparison isn’t a financial plan.
Personalized money is.

Investment returns get all the attention—but early on, they’re not the biggest driver of progress.
When balances are small, how much you save can matter more than how aggressively you invest it.

A higher savings rate:
• builds momentum faster
• gives compounding something to work with
• creates flexibility as life changes

Chasing returns before building capital is like tuning an engine with no fuel.

Strategy evolves over time.

Early years = contribution-focused.
Later years = optimization-focused.

This is why personalized planning beats generic advice.

Unpopular opinion: Most money advice on social media only works for a very specific kind of life.

What often gets missed online is context.

The advice that works for a 22-year-old with no dependents isn’t the same advice that works for a parent, a business owner, or someone balancing multiple priorities.

Money decisions don’t exist in a vacuum — they’re shaped by timing, goals, risk tolerance, and real life.

The best financial decisions aren’t viral.
They’re personal.

And we are never too busy to be a sounding board for the people you care about.

A new year brings new headlines, new predictions, and plenty of noise.

Yet the approach remains the same:
✔ Long-term planning
✔ Diversification
✔ Discipline through all market environments

Thank you for staying the course and allowing me to guide you through the year ahead. I look forward to continuing our work together in 2026.
