If someone wanted to pay me $100,000 for the contents of my fridge, I would be running home to clean it out and throwing in the contents of the freezer as well.

That is how the man in Matthew 13:44 felt about the treasure he found in the field. The "sacrifice" of selling everything was not really a sacrifice at all. The gain so far exceeded the cost that it was pure joy.

When we see Christ as our greatest treasure, generosity stops feeling like giving things up. It feels like gaining something infinitely better.

Diversification is not just smart investing. It is a biblical principle.

Ecclesiastes 11:1-2 says, "Ship your grain across the sea; after many days you may receive a return. Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight."

A well-diversified portfolio spreads risk across companies, countries, and investment types. The goal is not to chase the highest return. It is to build a foundation that supports peace, not anxiety.

Matthew 6:25-34 is one of the most comforting passages for anyone who has ever felt anxious about money.

"Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear."

Jesus is not saying planning is wrong. He is saying anxiety is unnecessary when your Father knows what you need.

More budgeting does not cure financial anxiety. More strict budgeting does not provide rest. God provides Himself as our rest.
