🚨 June 15th Deadline 🚨

June 15th is just a couple of weeks away, and that means it's time to plan for your estimated tax payments.

This applies to:
• Self-employed individuals
• Business owners
• Freelancers & contractors
• Anyone with income not subject to withholding

Missing an estimated payment can result in:
⚠️ Penalties
⚠️ Interest
⚠️ Unnecessary stress at year-end

Staying ahead of your quarterly payments keeps you compliant and avoids surprises later.

If you’re unsure how much you should be paying — or whether you’re required to make estimated payments — message me and let’s make sure you’re on track.

Let’s be honest 👀

Most people don’t have a tax issue…

They have a lack of planning issue.

Taxes only feel stressful when:
❌ You waited too long
❌ You didn’t track anything
❌ You’re unsure what’s allowed

When you move differently all year…
tax season becomes easy.

✨ Change the habit, change the outcome.

❌ Guess your expenses

✨ Organized clients always get the best results.

This was more than just a viewing party… it was a full circle moment 🤍

Seeing Woman in Power come to life and being surrounded by so many people who have supported me, believed in me, and watched this journey unfold… it meant everything.

This wasn’t just about a show.
It was about my legacy. My business. My story.

There was a time when everything felt uncertain. When I had to rebuild, refocus, and rise from situations that could’ve broken me. But I didn’t stay there.

Against all odds… I rose.

To now stand in a room celebrating something I built, something I fought for, something that represents who I’ve become—it’s a feeling I can’t even fully put into words.

Thank you to everyone who came out, showed love, and continues to support me. This is only the beginning ✨

Tax Tip Tuesday 🚨

Just because you were paid in cash…
does NOT mean you don’t have to report it.

There’s a common myth that money paid “under the table” isn’t taxable.

That’s false.

💵 Cash income
📲 Zelle / Cash App / Venmo
🧾 Side jobs
🎨 Freelance work

If you earned it, it’s taxable income — period.

Failing to report cash income can lead to:
• Penalties
• Interest
• Audits
• Bigger problems down the road

The IRS doesn’t care how you were paid. They care whether you report it.

Stay compliant. Stay protected.
If you’re unsure what needs to be reported, let’s talk.

💡 Tax Tip Tuesday: The $2,500 Expense Rule

Did you know you may not have to depreciate every equipment purchase?

The $2,500 de minimis safe harbor rule allows you to deduct certain tangible property purchases in the year you buy them — instead of spreading the deduction over several years.

Here’s how it works:

✔️ Applies to items costing $2,500 or less per item or per invoice
✔️ Can include equipment, tools, computers, and supplies
✔️ Must be ordinary and necessary for your business

If an item costs more than $2,500, it generally must be capitalized and depreciated .

Why this matters:
• Faster deductions
• Simpler bookkeeping
• Immediate tax benefit

Small purchases can add up to big savings when handled correctly.
Want to make sure you’re applying this rule the right way? Let’s talk.

🚨 Tax Tip Tuesday 🚨

❌ Myth: “I don’t make that much money, so the IRS won’t audit me.”

✔️ Truth: Your income level does NOT make you audit-proof.

The Internal Revenue Service can audit taxpayers at any income level. While some high-income returns may receive more scrutiny, audits can happen for many reasons, such as:

• Large or unusual deductions
• Missing or mismatched income (1099s, W-2s, etc.)
• Business losses year after year
• Random selection

In other words, any return can be reviewed, whether you make $30,000 or $300,000.

The best protection is simple:
✔️ Report all income
✔️ Keep good records
✔️ Make sure your deductions are legitimate

📌 Remember: it’s not about how much you make — it’s about how accurate your return is.
