Here we are again folks. The IRS is going to start accepting taxes on 1/24 this year... little earlier than last year. Current end date for the tax season is April 18th, keep in mind they can always change, but let's get them done for you. Also, another big reminder regarding refunds, the IRS will not start issuing refunds to those receiving Earned income credit until mid-Feb.

FYI....

Nearly 7 million tax filers are in limbo and facing substantial delays in getting refunds, as the Internal Revenue Service struggles to keep up with the demands of issuing stimulus checks and implementing a myriad of tax code changes from the coronavirus relief packages.

Happy March 11th to all!
The new stimulus, signed into law today, includes several things that might affect your taxes this year, yupe 2020! If you have already filed your taxes we will likely need to amend them to get the best possible benefits for you. In the next week or so I will be working with the software company I use as well as looking at the returns I have already filed to see where we need to go from here, let's not forget how the IRS is going to deal with the mid-season changes. Please be patient as these changes are figured out and we will get everyone taken care of.

As this tax season starts to close (only 7 more days for you procrastinators out there) I want to thank you for your wonderful support and business. I have been doing taxes for many years, YOU are the reason I love it so much.
I have seen folks married and divorced - I've seen clients and friends born, graduate high school and college, and I've even walked a few to the end. It is truly a pleasure to watch you and your families grow and change every year.
