The heavy rains last night finished off the tall bearded bloom season. My spuria irises are doing the best I have seen in years. I should have excellent bloom by next week on the spurias. If you have never seen thsese irises, come and view the irises that are exploding in popularity.

My bloom season is now starting to wind down, but there is still enough for you to see to come for a visit. I want to move some more irises. I will cut the bag sale irises by 25% for the next few days until bloom ends. I have never priced them this low at this time of year. This is your chance to replace irises that were lost due to spring freezes at a good price. We will be open 9:00 to 7:00 for the remaining bloom season.

Zee, a reblooming tall bearded iris is the first one to bloom for me this year. Bloom is progressing now and I will open the nursery on May 2nd. I will be having our usual bag sale as bloom progresses.

Once again, I understand someone has been putting the rumor out that I am out of business. This is my 46th year to be in the iris business and I am still in business. I will open the shop on Saturday May 2nd for this year. That will be a little early for bloom, but I will be open.
