Our team snuck out early today for an after tax season celebration. We had the best time at Escapology in the Glen and then a yummy dinner at The Oak! So grateful for these dedicated people who made our tax season go smoothly and took care of every detail.

A big thank you to all our valued clients who made another successful tax season possible! Here's some facts about our latest filing season from the IRS -

On Wednesday, the IRS released filing-related statistics under the new tax law, H.R. 1, P.L. 119-21, commonly known as the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

The average refund was over $3,400, an 11% increase over the last filing season, the IRS said.

Through Tuesday, more than 53 million filers had claimed at least one of the new tax deductions:
* About 6 million had claimed the deduction for tips, with an average deduction of over $7,100;
* Over 25 million had claimed the deduction for overtime, with an average deduction of over $3,100;
* Over 30 million had claimed the senior deduction with an average deduction of over $7,500; and
* Over 1 million had claimed the deduction for car loan interest, with an average deduction of over $1,800.

This will allow any taxpayer to complete their own Form 4547 and create their account.
