Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting 16 outstanding students for our two-day Leadership Development Program, Leadership that Counts, with participants representing 9 universities across the Northeast.

Over the course of the program, students had the opportunity to visit our firm, learn more about our work and culture, and connect with partners, staff, and former interns. They networked with professionals across the organization, built leadership skills, and collaborated on a case study that was presented to our partners.

Students also had the chance to visit clients and gain valuable real-world insight into the profession. And, of course, we made sure to build in some fun with our Office Olympics and team-building activities.

Thank you to all of the incredible students who joined us. We truly enjoyed having you and look forward to watching you continue to grow and advance in your careers.

Please join FML Leadership in congratulating Audit Staff member Andy Skowronek on earning his CPA.

Andy first joined FML through our Leadership Development Program in 2022 before becoming an Audit Intern in 2023 while earning both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting from Nichols College. He transitioned into a full-time Audit Staff role in 2025 upon graduation.

His achievement reflects the dedication, professionalism, and commitment he demonstrates in both his continued development and his contributions at FML. We look forward to seeing him continue to grow in his role and accomplish even more in the future.

Kody’s achievement reflects the focus, discipline, and consistency he brings to his work every day. At FML, he supports a diverse client base and manages complex tax engagements, making this achievement a clear reflection of his dedication and technical skill.

Kody earned his bachelor’s degree from Quinnipiac University in 2025 and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Accounting. He joined FML as a full-time Tax Staff Accountant in 2025, and we’re proud to see him reach this important milestone early in his career.

We were pleased to attend the Eastern Connecticut State University 30th Annual Accounting Banquet and support the next generation of accounting students. FML again sponsored an Accounting Scholarship at the event, with our alumna Destiny Rosado presenting on our behalf alongside fellow alumni Sabrina Sokaitis, Dan Slayton, Alex Rooney, and Jill Wirth.
