We are ready to process billions of dollars through our systems, with the vast majority being available to the customer on Monday, February 23rd and Wednesday, February 25th.

These are returns who have Earned Income Credit and refundable CTC. Check your banks Monday and Wednesday. Check the Refund tool on Friday or Saturday for updates.

Some taxpayers are noticing an inconsistency between their online IRS account balance and their actual balance. Payments made are listed under the payment activity tab but may not be updated in the balance due section. It is recommended to review both the balance due and payment activity tabs to confirm accuracy. Hopefully the IRS addresses this issue promptly.
