MISSION MONDAY: As a reminder, a new law is going into effect on July 31, 2025 that requires employers with at least 25 Massachusetts-based employees to include a pay range with each new job posting and disclose the pay range to employees who are offered a position or transferred to a new position with different responsibilities. MISSION MONDAY: Starting September 30, 2025, the Federal Government and IRS will cease issuing paper checks for all federal disbursements and will no longer accept paper checks as payments. This includes tax refunds, social security benefits and tax payments. All executive departments and agencies will transition to using electronic funds transfer (EFT) methods such as direct deposit, prepaid card accounts and other digital payment options. While this applies to the majority of taxpayers, there are exceptions and allowances so please reach out with any questions by calling (508) 339-3078.

MISSION MONDAY: Individuals, including sole proprietors, partners and S corporation shareholders, generally have to make quarterly estimated tax payments if they expect to owe tax of $1,000 or more when their return is filed. The second quarter Federal and State estimated tax deadline for 2025 is Monday, June 16th and quickly approaching. Be sure to submit your payments on time to avoid penalties.
