π¨ Important Notes π¨
β’ Any child you claim as a dependent must have lived with you for more than six months of the year.
β’ A divorce decree or custody agreement does not automatically determine who can claim a child. The IRS has its own rules regarding residency, support, and relationship that must be followed.
Because every tax situation is unique, bringing all your documents helps ensure your return is accurate and that you receive the maximum refund you qualify for!
