It's appraisal district's gone wild....Again! After we beat this back in Parker County 10 years ago, I didn't think I'd see it again. This time it's Collin CAD. This is not trying to figure out what went wrong, this is trying to figure out what went right. Back assessing 460 properties in Princeton, Texas, is not just crazy, it's illegal. They are still misinforming the residents and denying them hearings they are fully entitled to. There is still time to act and get this all reversed (Yeah, we've done it before). Texans, if you've protested your property tax value and left the hearing disheartened, I understand. Never take the ARB's decision as the final word. The second half of the property tax protest season is just starting. Appeal further! If you have RESIDENTIAL property in Collin, Dallas, Denton, Parker, or Tarrant Counties you will want to know about this. You have 60 days from the date you received by certified mail the ARB's final determination of your value to pull the trigger. The clock is tick-tick-ticking! Your goal should be 25% below your home's market value. There are amazing tools for the INFORMED property owner to WIN BIG!
