As a heads up to all our clients for this new tax year, please try to remember to bring in your last paychek stub so we can make sure you are able to take advantage of the tax relief on overtime pay. That number will not be separated on your W-2 for the 2025 tax year. Without that information we won't be able to make sure you are getting the true legal amount for your refund you are due.

IR-2025-114, Nov. 21, 2025 — The Department of the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service today issued guidance for workers eligible to claim the deduction for tips and for overtime compensation for tax year 2025.
