Just a heads up for tax season 🚨

If you didn’t work in 2O24 or barely worked but have dependents, that does NOT mean you’re automatically owed a refund.

No income = no return 🥱

So if this applies to you and your tax preparer still gets you the max refund possible, don’t complain about the fees they’re charging because let’s be real you could’ve gotten NOTHING‼️‼️

Let me break it down for you:

Example: You’re 25, a W2 employee with 2 dependents, $32OO in wages, and $15O in federal withholding. Your refund should only be about $145O WITH those dependents. But your preparer goes above and beyond and gets you back $61OO. If they charge $7OO-$1K for their fees, that’s REASONABLE, because without their skills, you’d only be walking away with $145O.

HAVING KIDS DOESN’T AUTOMATICALLY GUARANTEE YOU A REFUND‼️

Don’t give these preparers a hard time this year complaining about fees!!
