As we start this tax season I just wanted to answer a popular question for those waiting on their W2 forms

“Can I use my last check stub to file my taxes?”

Unfortunately the IRS prohibits e-file providers from transmitting a tax return prior to receiving W2s forms.

Below are some reasons you cannot use your last check stub.
- your last paystub is missing important information needed to file an accurate return.
