ELFAND ALERT! NJ SMALL BUSINESS ANNOUNCEMENT!

Return and Earn: An Incentive Program for Garden State Workers and Employers
A new work incentive program in NJ announced earlier this week. Strictly for Small Businesses with less than 100 employees.

Governor Murphy announced the Return and Earn program to encourage unemployed people to return to work. The program would give workers a $500 bonus for returning to work as well as offer $10,000 in wage subsidies to businesses that hire and train new workers.

Requirements:
- Hourly pay must be at least $15
- Business must have fewer than 100 employees to be eligible
- Candidates must be new jersey residents working full-time
- Seasonal, part-time, commission based, or 1099 positions are not eligible.

ELFAND ALERT! POTENTIAL NEW GRANT AVAILABLE TO SOUTH JERSEY BUSINESSES!!!

Is your business located in Camden County New Jersey and do you meet the following criteria?

-Business revenue has been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

-The business has been located in Camden County since January 1, 2019 or earlier.

- The business employed 25 or fewer employees as of March 1, 2021

- The business earned $5,000,000 or less in total revenue during each year of 2019 and 2020

- The business must not operate in any of the following categories:
Banks or other financial institutions.
E-Commerce.
Businesses where the primary products or services are oriented to specific ages (va**ng, liquor stores, etc.)
Franchises, except for those franchises which are completely locally-owned and operated.
