I received this email yesterday and wanted to post the picture to warn our clients about this newest SCAM. The IRS does NOT email you - they send you letters. And you can see from the “To” line they send this to me and 477 other people just hoping that a few people click on the button at the bottom. The final clue that this is a scam is that it is talking about 2023 - how can anyone get a refund for a year that isn’t even over yet? Please, please delete this email if you see it and reach out to us before giving out your personal info.

As of 7 am this morning, we will NOT be open today, Saturday, January 29th. Once we are able to check on the roads, this may change and we may open later in the day. We just want to err on the safe side and are concerned with black ice on the road until temps get above freezing.

If we decide to open later this morning, we will make another post and change our voicemail and website.

COVID-19 Updates:

We have taken several steps to try to protect you, our customer, from COVID-19.

1 - We have installed a Blue Tube UV light in our central air system. The manufacturer states that the UVC light kills over 99% of airborne mold, bacteria, viruses, and allergens.

2 - We have placed a Medify Air HEPA-H13 air purifier in the office. The manufacturer states that it will remove up to 99.9% of particles from the air. The purifier will clean the air in the
room 3-4 times per hour.

Although there is no guarantee that all germs will be removed from the air or killed by these two systems, we wanted you to know that we value your patronage and have taken these steps to try and make our office environment safer.

3 - We have safety shields/dividers up and will be wearing masks as well.

If you prefer to drop-off, if we have any questions we will call, email, or text, otherwise, we will call or text you when the return is ready to pick-up.

If you prefer to wait and have us do it in person, we will get your name and phone number and have you wait in your car and will text you when it is your time to return and come into the office.

Happy New Year, everyone! We hope everyone had a great 2019! We can’t believe it’s already 2020!

IR-2018-01, Jan. 04, 2018 ― The Internal Revenue Service announced today that the nation’s tax season will begin Monday, Jan. 29, 2018 and reminded taxpayers claiming certain tax credits that refunds won’t be available before late February.
