Meet our Board: Roger Williams
We are proud to highlight Roger Williams, Chair Elect of the Shoals Chamber of Commerce.
Roger is a graduate of Deshler High School and Birmingham Southern College. He began his career as an Audit Associate with a regional CPA firm in Birmingham, Alabama, where he spent more than eight years and advanced to Audit Manager. In that role, he provided audit and assurance services to a broad portfolio of clients.
He returned to the Shoals in 2018 to join Patterson, Prince and Associates, P.C., Certified Public Accountants and was previously recognized as a 2017 Rising Star of Accounting by the Birmingham Business Journal. Roger is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He serves on the executive board of the Shoals Chamber of Commerce and Shoals Habitat for Humanity, where he serves as finance chair. He also serves as President of Alabama Court Appointed Special Advocates.
Beyond his board and professional service, Roger is actively involved in community outreach. He was named Big Brother of the Year by Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Shoals in 2023 and recognized as Businessman of the Year by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. in 2024. He is a graduate of Leadership Shoals and the State of Alabama Leadership Initiative Program.
Roger and his wife Briana have two children, Zoey and Connor.
