This is Bean and he is my current work buddy. He is very sweet and shy. New humans make him both nervous and curious. He sometimes barks if someone comes into the office and it startles him. He will slowly approach people and sniff them cautiously. If you don’t like dogs, or don’t like them coming into your personal space, please call ahead and I will make sure he is out of the main office area. Please don’t be rude to this poor animal. It’s his territory after all.

Happy New Year! With that comes a new tax season. This one will be without my father O'Steens Tax & Accounting LLC since he has officially retired after 50 years in the accounting business. My workload has doubled so I am not taking on any new clients. My current clients always take priority. Nick Palke has joined my mother, Corinne, and I. He’s a business major at Francis Marion and has been a quick learner and a huge help. Looking forward to seeing you soon!

A credit up to $800 could be coming your way in the next month. If you had a tax liability to SC in 2021, you qualify if you have already filed your taxes.

After SC state lawmakers approved state tax rebates in June, the South Carolina Department of​ Revenue will be issuing close to one billion​ dollars to eligible taxpayers who filed a 2021 state Individual Income Tax return.​
