Court Pauses Enforcement of BOI Reporting

On December 3, 2024, a federal judge from the Eastern District of Texas (Sherman Division) issued a preliminary nationwide injunction, preventing FinCEN from enforcing the Beneficial Ownership Information Reporting requirements pending further proceedings on the merits. The federal government has appealed this order to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Read this update for further information. Stay tuned for further updates!
