Became a Pro Advisor with QuickBooks (Intuit). This just means that I have experience with QuickBooks and specifically the online version and have completed the certification to show that I have an understanding of the software. Intuit now gives me their stamp of approval by allowing me to have a public listing.

As I have been using QuickBooks online now for a while, I thought I would write my experience with the software. I have found it to have a lot of benefits that I didn't know about prior to getting started. I used the desktop version so long, and I was skeptical at first, but I have been impressed.

There are many benefits of QuickBooks online including the ability to do remote bookkeeping with greater ease.

In addition to monthly remote bookkeeping, I also offer clean-up work. We recently took on a client in November of last year that needed three years of data entry and bank reconciliations in order to get caught up. We were able to get the work done in lest than a month.

Assisted a client this week creating a series of budgets in QuickBooks online for various customer projects. QuickBooks Online has a lot of great options for the budgeting utility and allows for a lot of flexibility and customization. Additional, the Budget vs. Actual report is a great tool to use in order to compare the budgeted income and expenses against the actual figures.

As a background on myself, I started doing bookkeeping work back in 1998 for a construction company in Camarillo. I have worked for a few different companies over the years and have learned many skills in addition to bookkeeping.
