I graduated from the University of Central Missouri (previously called Central Missouri State University) with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Accounting in 1998. I became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2007. Although I have worked as a governmental auditor for most o

f professional career, I have always enjoyed working on accounting and tax services. I am a Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor and Certified QuickBooks Payroll ProAdvisor.

If you or your business needs 1099s or W-2s prepared and filed for federal and state, I can do this by the deadline on January 31 for these to be provided to recipients. If you have kept your receipts for gas purchases, you can submit your Missouri gas tax refund form through September 30. The refund for gas used in personal vehicle is 5 cents a gallon this year. The refund for fuel not used for highway purposes (i.e. boat, ATV, equipment) is 22 cents a gallon this year.

If you would like an estimate, I can easily determine using forms/schedules in your last federal return and number of income forms (W-2s, 1099-INT). I would also need to know if you had to file taxes in multiple states. I only charge based on forms/schedules actually needed in your tax returns.

Tax preparation is cloud-based. Documents are easy to upload and process depends on device being used. On a desktop/laptop computer, you can scan a document which can be uploaded by dragging and dropping file or click to browse to locate file. On a mobile device (i.e. iPad, phone), you can just take a picture then upload.
