One of the most memorable convention’s I attended focused on forming connections with our communities more than it did on taxes. The theme was Making every block better and I have tried very hard since then to show our clients that we are not just number crunchers and middlemen to the IRS. We are a family comprised of several people working together for the betterment of our small community. Sometimes that looks like fundraising for charity, or sometimes it may be helping a community member privately in the form of a listening ear or lending a shoulder to rest on. We also take lots of pride in how we represent ourselves and how our little corner of earth makes people feel like they are coming for a visit not just an appointment. I challenge you all to take a look at your surroundings and help me make every block better.

The countdown to tax day is on! 6 filing days left and man have we worked hard to pull off another successful tax year. As a reward for all of our sleepless nights, late nights, and early mornings, we have decided to make Wednesday April 15th an official Pajama Day at all three of our locations. We will be donning our PJ Faves and we are encouraging any clients that have appointments on that day to toss all care aside and show up in your cozies in support of our hard tireless efforts....We will also have some breakfast yummies to share!

Here at H&R Block we are more than just your local tax office. This tax office was because a young girl had a dream of owning her own business. With support from others and word-of-mouth this is where we are. Encouraging someone’s inspirations or creations is important to us so we carry local entrepreneurs creations, and designs. Please check them out. You may find something that interests you or maybe just want to support someone local trying to make their dream come true. Currently we have handcrafted items from Castle rock photography with their custom-made greeting card box kits, which include 10 cards all with Main photos and a white pen for the black stationary. We also have items created by Castle rock creations, which are done with a 3-D printer and resin work. She also does offer customized and personalized work and last but not least we have organic beef tallow products by Bee Wilder Mama, she offers Chapstick in two flavors, salt, scrubs, anti-aging cream, wound care, and other skin care products. These all can be found in our Jay location at 152 Main St. in Jay, or you can inquire about them at our other locations in Farmington and Kingfield
