💡 Tax Tip Alert!

Starting in 2026, a new rule will impact charitable deductions. Individuals will face a “floor” of ½ of 1% (0.005) of AGI before deductions count.

👉 Example: A family with $200,000 AGI who donates $2,500 will lose the first $1,000 (200,000 × 0.005) of that deduction. That means they can only claim $1,500 instead of the full $2,500.

✅ The good news: This does not apply in 2025! If you’re planning donations, consider making your 2026 contributions in 2025 to maximize your tax benefit.

• QuickBooks (either online or desktop, preferably both)
• Microsoft Word and Excel
