9258 Tax Preparation & Planning – John F. Dickey & Co. is seeking a seasonal administrative assistant to work at our Fairfield, OH office from January-April 15th. This person will support our management team with scanning and assembly of tax returns.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Scan source documents for tax returns

· Process and assemble prepared tax returns

· Other administrative duties on an as needed basis

Qualifications:

· Basic computer knowledge

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

2017 OH Sales Tax Holiday

S.B. 9 enacted a sales tax holiday to occur only in 2017. The holiday starts on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 12:00 a.m. and ends on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 11:59 p.m.

During the holiday, the following items are exempt from sales and use tax:
• Clothing priced at $75 per item or less;
• School supplies priced at $20 per item or less; and
• School instructional material priced at $20 per item or less.

Items used in a trade or business are not exempt under the sales tax holiday.
