We are expanding and seeking to hire a part-time seasonal to possibly full-time tax preparer / accountant. Tax preparation experience is mandatory. CPA is useful but not essential. Salary is competitive and commensurate with work experience. We offer flexible hours and working arrangements. Tax Season is officially kicking off!! Some of the pieces of information that taxpayers need to have when preparing their tax returns are Economic Impact Payments received in 2021 and any Child Tax Credit (CTC) payments received throughout the year. The IRS has announced they are mailing notices to taxpayers listing the CTC payments received in 2021 that must be reported with their tax filings. They have also released an online portal on IRS.gov that can be used to confirm the date and the amounts of the credits received. This is extremely useful for those who may have misplaced or never received the written record of payments received.
