Second Career

After 21 years in the meteorology business and 5 years of owning Equinox Weather, it was time to go into my second love, accounting and bookkeeping, in September 2019, I had the idea of at first starting a tax preparation business, but over Thanksgiving Holiday, I realized that tax prep is only a seasonal type business, so I decided to expand into bookkeeping and on December 2, 2019, I launched Jackson’s InBalance Bookkeeping (most spell “inbalance” as “imbalance”, but I wanted to be different). But I launched the business to begin marketing with full service beginning on January 2, 2020. While I do have over 14 years experience in tax prep, bookkeeping is a bit new, but still have plenty of experience as I had to do my own books for my previous business. Every business, both large and small need bookkeepers and accountants and my goal is to provide high quality work, while helping out clients to make the most out of their business.
