SAVE YOURSELF A FEW DOLLARS DURING THE HOLIDAYS!🎄🎁🎅
The Oregon kicker refund which you will see on your 2023 tax return will be 44% of your 2022 Oregon tax!
This is due to the largest revenue surplus in Oregon history.
So in order to take advantage of some of that refund now, reduce your Oregon income tax withholding on your Oregon W4 in order to fatten up your net pay a bit. I recommend doing this immediately in order for it to affect your December paycheck but do not forget to change it back! You will want to do so right away in January!

Check out the last reason BiMart closed its pharmacies:
1. Prescription medication costs have gone up while insurance reimbursements have grown smaller and smaller.
2. Medication distribution and benefit management fees have soared in recent years, costing us additional millions.
3. The Oregon Corporate Activity Tax takes even more, taxing us on receipts rather than just profits.
I warned about this unfair tax that would cost individuals. We've now lost a beloved pharmacy. On top of that, the cost of every product you buy had to go up to cover this "corporate tax" imposed by Oregon. This is a tax on total receipts of ALL companies, which does not take into account even the wholesale cost of goods. This means the receipts if the wholesale company, the trucking company, and the retail companies are all taxed on the same product. Of course companies raise the costs to cover that tax, which has now been paid by us three times!
We must call for the repealing of the Oregon Corporate Tax, named to hide the truth about who REALLY pays this tax.

I just got an email offering $90 for CVS survey and researched it to find:
"CVS Health does not solicit information from our customers in this manner. You should not reply to or follow any links contained in such a message."

A couple things you need to know:
1. IRS will begin accepting e-filed returns Feb 12. Go ahead and get your information in, so your return is in the queue and getting processed as soon as they open it up.
2. You need to know how much you've received between the two stimulus payments. This will go on your return, getting you more, if you qualify for more. (It may also affect your Oregon tax return.)
3. Make time to laugh!

I just received a VERY official sounding phone call from "The Social Security Administration," telling me there is suspected fraudulent use of my social security number.
When YOU receive this call, do what I did.
HANG UP!!!!
These fraudulent calls are pervasive. Please share this post and warn those not on Facebook.
Now.... May the tax season begin!
