Just wrapped up 2 days at Annual Members Business and Council Meetings at the majestic and historical Lake Tahoe aka Home of the 1960 Winter Olympics listening to and learning from the greatest in our profession at the Local and National level such as Barry Melancon, CPA, CGMA, President and CEO of AICPA, and Anoop Mehta, CPA, CGMA, AICPA chair. As a board member of CalCPA Los Angeles Chapter, I welcomed Paul Koretz, Los Angeles City Council and Greg Martayan Director of Public Safety and Special Assignments to our 20th ABC event. It was my honor to introduce Mr. Koretz and Mr. Martayan to our new California Society of CPAs, the nation’s largest state CPA society, and the CalCPA Education Foundation President and CEO, Denise LeDuc Froemming, CPA, CAE, MBA as well as to CalCPA Los Angeles Chapter President, Gina De Rosa, CPA.
