If you are contributing to a Roth IRA please make sure your tax preparer is tracking your basis in the IRA. Early distributions are not taxable up to the basis. Also if you are taking distributions from a Roth IRA that you have owed for over 5 years and you are over 59.5 please check that you are not paying taxes on the distrubtions.
