The Business Person of the Year & Randolph County Chamber of Commerce Award is being presented to a business person(s) who has provided our community with dedicated service, innovative ideas, ethics, and community spirit.
🤩Our Business Person of the Year Award recognizes an individual whose leadership, professionalism, and dedication have strengthened our business community and supported the success of countless others.
This year’s recipient is someone whose work often happens behind the scenes — yet the impact is felt by businesses, entrepreneurs, and families throughout Randolph County and beyond.
For more than two decades, this individual has built a career grounded in integrity, precision, and service. As a Certified Public Accountant, she has helped individuals and businesses navigate the complexities of accounting, tax planning, and financial management with clarity and confidence.
A graduate of Davis & Elkins College, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting, she has remained deeply connected to the community where she built both her education and career. Through her leadership of a respected local accounting firm, she and her team provide a wide range of accounting services to individuals and businesses in a variety of industries. Their biggest focus is designing tax strategies for high income individuals to help them legally reduce their tax liability and build wealth. But what truly sets her apart is the personal care and attention she brings to every client relationship.
Business owners throughout our region rely on her expertise not just during tax season, but throughout the year as they make important financial decisions, grow their companies, and plan for the future. Her dedication to professionalism, responsiveness, and quality has built a trusted reputation that continues to bring clients back year after year.
Committed to professional growth and staying at the forefront of her field, she recently completed her Certification in Advanced Tax Strategies, expanding her ability to help clients navigate complex tax laws and proactively mitigate tax liability through thoughtful planning.
Her leadership extends well beyond her professional work. She is a proud member of the Leadership West Virginia Class of 2018, a program that brings together leaders from across the state to strengthen communities and support economic development.
🫶 Her dedication to community service is evident through her long-standing involvement in numerous organizations that make Randolph County stronger. She is a Past President of the Elkins Rotary Club and currently serves as the club’s Treasurer, continuing her commitment to service and community leadership. She also serves as a district member of the Gold Star Memorial Committee, helping honor and remember the sacrifices of our nation’s fallen heroes and their families.
She currently serves on several local boards that support community well-being and growth, including the Women’s Club of Elkins, Tygart Valley United Way, where she serves as Assistant Treasurer, and the Interact Children’s Museum, where she serves as Treasurer.
Her community service has also included previous board leadership with Youth Health Services, the West Virginia Nonprofit Association, and Mountain Hospice, further demonstrating her dedication to strengthening organizations that serve others.
Beyond her professional and civic commitments, she is also deeply devoted to her family. She and her husband, Jason, are proud parents to their two children, Brody and Lexy, and even prouder grandparents to three grandchildren, who bring tremendous joy to their lives.
While her work centers around numbers, her true impact is about people — helping entrepreneurs succeed, helping families plan for their future, and helping businesses remain strong pillars of our local economy.
Her commitment to professionalism, community leadership, and service to others makes her a truly deserving recipient of this honor.
