At Traveling Bean Counters, we believe that taking care of our community is just as important as taking care of your books! This season, we're putting down our calculators (just for a moment!) and picking up a cause that is near and dear to our hearts.
We are excited to announce that Traveling Bean Counters is organizing a FOOD DRIVE to benefit Food for Life Pantry!
We are asking our wonderful clients, friends, and community members to join us in helping local families who may be struggling to put food on the table. A little generosity can make a BIG difference, and together, we can help keep our neighbors' pantries stocked.
The drive will run from Monday, October 19th through Monday, December 14th.
🥫 What's on the Shopping List?
Food for Life Pantry is especially in need of:
• Canned fruits and vegetables
• Canned soups
• Pasta and pasta sauce
• Peanut butter and jelly
• Canned meats and tuna
• Cereal
• Rice
• Other non-perishable, shelf-stable foods
Please note: All donated food items must be unopened, non-perishable, and within their best-by or expiration dates.
📍 Where Can You Drop Off Donations?
All food and monetary donations can be brought directly to our office at:
Traveling Bean Counters
1421 Racine St, Unit D
Delavan, WI 53115
Stop by, say hello, and help us fill our collection area with kindness and generosity!
💰 Prefer to Give a Monetary Donation?
We are also happily accepting monetary donations on behalf of Food for Life Pantry in Delavan!
Traveling Bean Counters is serving as a collection point for these contributions, and 100% of all monetary donations collected will be forwarded directly to Food for Life Pantry to support its mission of helping local families in need.
For your convenience, monetary donations can be made using any of the following methods:
• Cash
• Check — Payable to Traveling Bean Counters
• Credit Card
• Debit Card
☕ Give Back and Get a Little Something in Return!
As our way of saying thank you, monetary donors will receive a Traveling Bean Counters gift certificate valued at 50% of their donation, redeemable toward future bookkeeping or tax preparation services.
For example:
• Donate $20 → Receive a $10 gift certificate
• Donate $50 → Receive a $25 gift certificate
• Donate $100 → Receive a $50 gift certificate
• Donate $200 → Receive a $100 gift certificate
A Note About Tax Deductions: Monetary contributions may qualify for a charitable contribution deduction, subject to applicable IRS requirements. Because donors receive a gift certificate in return, the potential deductible portion may be limited to the amount contributed in excess of the value of the certificate. Eligibility and the final deductible amount should be confirmed with a tax professional.
☕ A Little Thank-You From Your Favorite Bean Counters!
Because we believe generosity deserves a little something in return, we're offering a special thank-you to everyone who contributes!
Donate Food — Receive a $25 Gift Certificate!
Make a food donation and receive a $25 gift certificate toward future bookkeeping or tax preparation services at Traveling Bean Counters.
Food donation gift certificates are limited to one $25 certificate per donor, regardless of the number of food items donated.
Your generosity helps feed our neighbors, and our gift certificates help you save on future accounting services. That's a win-win worth celebrating!
❤️ Small Acts of Kindness Add Up!
Whether you donate a few cans of soup, a bag of groceries, or make a monetary contribution, your generosity will help make a meaningful difference for families right here in our community.
