For everyone's education - if your wedding planner asks you to pay them directly for anything other than their services, run! A reputable Event Planner will manage the process for a professional fee (either hourly or negotiated rate) based on your specific needs and will never sign a vendor contract directly for you. That is and should always be the responsibility of the couple or client.
