We can sometimes accommodate same day appointments depending on staff availability. We can usually accommodate next day appointments.

Today, April 15th, is the last day to file personal tax returns or request an extension. An extension gives you more time to file, but it does not extend the time to pay any tax owed. The filing deadline is extended to October 15th.

Affordable Tax Services will be closed from April 16, 2026, through May 18, 2026. Responses to phone calls and emails will be delayed during this time, and online booking will not be available again until January 2027. To make an appointment for the remainder of the year, please contact us at 412-892-0001 after May 18, 2026.

Thank you to everyone who trusted Affordable Tax Services this season. We’re proud to have completed 500+ tax returns this tax season and continue growing through the support of our community. A special thank you to my interns, Jacob and Katrina, for doing an outstanding job utilizing their classroom education in the business world.

With April 15th only 9 days away, time is running out. We have a very limited number of appointments left for April 8, 10, and 13. April 13th is the final day for in-person appointments.

Wednesday, April 8th is the last day drop-offs will be accepted. No exceptions after that.

Drop-off hours for this week:

Monday, April 6th: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Tuesday, April 7th: 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Wednesday April 8th: 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Affordable Tax Services will be closed from April 16th through May 17th.

The deadline is approaching fast.

April 8 is the last day to drop off your tax documents for returns without Schedule C’s or Rentals in order for it to be prepared and submitted by April 15.
Extensions must be filed for returns with Schedule C’s and Rentals.

Drop-off hours:
Saturday, April 4: 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Monday, April 6: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Wednesday, April 8: 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM

A limited number of in-person appointments are also available for Wednesday, April 8, Friday, April 10 and Monday, April 13.

🚨 Important Tax Deadline for Partnerships & S-Corps 🚨

The March 16, 2026 filing deadline for Partnership and S-Corporation tax returns is approaching.

To ensure your return is filed on time, please email or drop off all required documents by Saturday, February 28, 2026.

Drop offs received after February 28 will still be processed, but an extension will need to be filed for an additional $30 fee.

Note this deadline only applies to S Corporations and Partnerships. We are still accepting new clients and will continue accepting indivdual tax returns past February 28th.
